PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion device of a press-fit terminal capable of inserting a press-fit terminal easily into the insertion hole of a substrate, and capable of grasping the insertion state surely, and to provide an insertion method, and a manufacturing method of a coupling product of a press-fit terminal and a substrate. SOLUTION: An insertion device 1 of a press-fit terminal includes a substrate pressing member 41 located on the reverse side of a pin 34 before insertion while holding a substrate 21 therebetween, and pressing the substrate 21 toward a connector 22 without contacting the pin 34, a terminal press-fit member 43 located on the reverse side of the substrate pressing member 41 while holding the substrate 21 therebetween, and pressing the pin 34 toward the substrate 21, and a determination unit 45 which determines, for each pin 34, whether or not the displacement of the terminal press-fit member 43 falls within a predetermined acceptable range, when the pin 34 is inserted into a through hole 31 of the substrate 21 by means of the substrate pressing member 41 and the terminal press-fit member 43.
