A floor tool for a vacuum cleaner comprises a main body 4 connected to a conduit 6, the main body 4 including a suction nozzle 10, 12 that includes a first suction chamber and a second suction chamber adjacent to the first chamber, wherein each suction chamber includes a respective fluid outlet (88, fig 7) in communication with the conduit 6. The first and second suction chambers contain an interior wall (100, fig 7) which partitions the suction chamber into a first suction channel (82, fig 7) and a second channel (84, fig 7), with dirt being caused to travel from the first suction channel (82, fig 7) to the second suction channel (84, fig 7) via an intermediate channel (81, fig 7). |
