An insulated wooden door which uses natural and environmentally friendly insulation materials. The door is comprised of a timber stile and rail frame with timber boards attached to the front and back. The insulation, for example sheep wool, is installed between the front and back sheeting. The insulation reduces heat loss and sound transference. Figure 1 shows the stile and rail frame, the sheep wool insulation is represented by the shaded area. Once the insulation has been inserted the outer wood boards are attached at the front and back to give the door its finished appearance. |
