PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled vehicle for high place work rarely causing an overturn or the like, having high safety, and capable of surely transmitting driving force in travelling to a traveling surface. SOLUTION: The self-propelled vehicle 1 for high place work includes an under carriage 30 equipped with wheels 33, a deck 10 ascending and descending on the under carriage 30, and a scissors link mechanism 20 lifting the deck 10 on the under carriage 30. In the self-propelled vehicle 1 for high place work, lower ends of one side arms 211, 221 constituting X-shaped links 21a, 22a on the lowest stage of the scissors link mechanism 20 are pivotally fitted to a predetermined position on one end 30a side of the under carriage 30. In an end part (the other end 30b of the under carriage 30) side opposite to the one end 30a of the under carriage 30, a battery 34 is stored in the under carriage 30, and the center of gravity G<SB>L</SB>of the self-propelled vehicle for high place work when the deck 10 is most lowered is put within a triangle x, c, d composed of an intersection x of diagonal lines DL and corner parts c, d.
