The invention relates to a switching chamber assembly (10), especially for a power switch, comprising a mobile contact bridge (38) that can be associated with stationary contacts, a contact compression spring (40) and a contact bridge guide, configured by a pusher (28) that has an extension (34) with a slot (36) in which the pertaining contact bridge (38) can be inserted, the extension (34) that projects beyond the contact bridge (38) being insertable in the contact compression spring (40) and the pusher (28) being adapted to be displaced into and engaged with a receiving opening together with the contact bridge (38), and further comprising two opposite sidewalls (20, 22). The switching chamber assembly is characterized in that a bottom element (26) extends perpendicular to the sidewalls (20, 22) and interconnects them in a center area (24) in one piece, thereby forming in said center area (24) the receiving opening for the pusher (28) and closing it towards the bottom and forming pre-chamber compartments (56, 58) in the lateral areas adjoining the receiving opening. A guide plate (60) rests with its face on the bottom element (26) outside the receiving compartment and closes the pre-chamber compartments (56, 58) towards the bottom. Pockets (62, 64) for receiving blow plates are formed in the sidewalls (20, 22) in the area of the pre-chamber compartments (56, 58) and are open towards the bottom. |
