<p>Provided is a small-sized cylindrical battery in which improvement in battery characteristics and improvement in long-term reliability and safety are both realized. The cylindrical battery includes: a bottomed cylindrical battery case 1, an electrode group 5 housed together with an electrolyte in the battery case 1, a sealing member 8 fitted into an opening of the battery case 1, and a gasket 9 interposed between the sealing member 8 and the battery case 1. The opening of the battery case 1 is sealed by applying a drawing process to an opening end portion of the battery case 1. The battery case 1 is constituted of stainless steel. The battery case 1 has an outer diameter of 10 mm or less and a thickness of 0.05 mm or more and 0.2 mm or less.</p> |
