Valve assembly for controlling an additional steering system for multi-axle vehicles, in particular mobile cranes

The arrangement (1) has hydraulic steering cylinders (3, 3') with a stop valve arrangement (4) for stopping steering movements of the steering cylinders. A control valve assembly (5) controls the respective steering cylinders for representation of steering movements and holding current steering positions. A redundancy unit (6) maintains the steering cylinders in current steering position during failure of the control valve assembly, and includes a seat valve (7) with two switching positions. The redundancy unit is formed by an electrically operated 3 and/or 2 way valve.
