<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller assembly having pockets allowing free mounting/demounting of the roller, and storing the rollers in a fall-off preventive manner, to provide a roller bearing equipped therewith, and to provide a method for removing the rollers from the roller bearing allowing easy removal of the rollers from the specified pockets. <P>SOLUTION: The plurality of pockets of a cage include a plurality of first pockets 70 and one or more second pockets 71. In a plane defining each first pocket 70 of a second columnar part 32, a portion located on the opposite side to the outer ring side in the radial direction beyond the pitch circle of the cylindrical roller is a cylindrical face 85 for preventing the fall-off of the cylindrical roller in the radial direction.
