<p>The invention relates to a percolator-type device for preparing hot drinks, especially coffee and/or tea, comprising a liquid reservoir which is designed such that the liquid contained therein can be heated by means of an external heat source and/or that liquid heated that way can be supplied to it, a cross-flow section having an inlet for heated liquid from the liquid reservoir, a cross-flow volume designed to accommodate a substance through which the liquid is intended to flow and having an outlet section for the removal of liquid from the cross-flow volume which has flown through the cross-flow volume, a vertical tube section connecting the liquid reservoir to the cross-flow volume via the inlet, and a steam removal section connected to the liquid reservoir, said steam removal section serving to remove steam originating from the heated liquid from the liquid reservoir, and a take-in section which is preferably integrated into the steam removal section via which take-in section an external liquid can be taken in. The external liquid taken in can be combined with the steam removed from the liquid reservoir and can be frothed up.</p> |
