The invention presents a foot rest comprising a plate with two planar regions 1 dimensioned and shaped for acceptance of feet, the regions being spaced apart by a spacer 2, and a means 3 for allowing the foot rest to form a temporary support connection with an independent structure, wherein said connection allows pivoting of the foot rest relative to the structure. The spacer may comprise a plurality of recesses and the foot rest may comprise electronic controls (5, Fig 5) which may be located on the spacer or the toe regions of the planar regions. The foot rest may further be arranged such that at least one section can bias the foot rest towards pivoting in a direction towards the structure. |
