generating mobility information associated with a mobile device attached to a first access node, the mobility information comprising information regarding a frequency of handovers, a number of handovers, a time of at least one previous handover, a time of entrance of the mobile device into the first access node, and a size of a service area associated with the first access node; and causing communication of the mobility information to a second access node for use in a handover of the mobile device from the first access node to the second access node.
