摘要 The present invention relates to a method for producing a urethane optical member, containing curing a mixture containing an aromatic polyisocyanate compound having a melting point of 25°C or more and a polythiol compound, the method containing melting the aromatic polyisocyanate compound by heating to a temperature that is not lower than a melting point thereof, then mixing with the polythiol compound to provide a mixed liquid, and curing the mixed liquid without heating to provide a cured product, in the state where the liquid temperature of the mixed liquid is controlled to not lower than the deposition temperature of the aromatic polyisocyanate compound and not higher than the decomposition temperature of the cured product. The present invention provides a method for producing a urethane optical member that is excellent in transparency free of haze with high productivity even by using an aromatic polyisocyanate compound that is solid at 25°C (ordinary temperature) and a polythiol compound.
