A method for calculating estimated torque of an air conditioner for a car is provided to amend in order to prevent the severe flow of the engine RPM by decreasing the rate of change at a part where the rate of change of the estimated torque is serious. A method for calculating estimated torque of an air conditioner for a car comprises: a step of calculating the torque generated by the compressor drive of the car air conditioner and reflecting the calculated estimated torque; a step of classifying one cycle, to finishing of the compressor drive from the beginning, into several sections according to the rate of change of a compressor; a step of calculating the estimated torque with the other operation expression per a section; and a step of amending the calculation of the estimated torque at stable section of the torque variation using the estimated torque calculated before a certain time. The amendment classifies the stable section from a transition section into two sections and applies with another correction rate. |
