<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of making a motion of a pointer image visible smoothly, even when a rotation angle of the pointer image between frames is large. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display panel capable of displaying a pointer image representing a rotating slender pointer and a locus image representing a locus of a motion of the pointer image; and control means for controlling a display state of the display panel so as to enable the pointer images and the locus images of multiple frames to be consecutively switched and displayed. Among the multiple frames, a locus image in a predetermined frame is provided between a rotation position of the pointer image in the predetermined frame and a position corresponding to a rotation position of the pointer image displayed in a frame previous to the predetermined frame by one or more, and is formed as an image having the same shape as the pointer image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
