PURPOSE: An apparatus for screen capture security and a method thereof are provided to prevent information spill through screen capture when a specific web site is connected or a specific application is executed. CONSTITUTION: A capture screen storing unit (110) stores a captured screen when a screen is captured in a smart device. A security control unit (20) judges whether capture screen security is required or not in accessing a specific web site or executing a specific application. When the capture screen security is required, the security control unit grasps generation information of the captured screens stored in the capture screen storing unit. The security control unit deletes the captured screens generated during the execution time of the application or the connection time of the web site.
