The present invention relates to an apparatus for recovering waste oil from food waste, including a main body which has an inlet and a filter, wherein the inlet is prepared on the upper side of the main body for inputting food waste, and the filter filters out materials with a size greater than or equal to a specific size while fed food waste through the inlet passes through the filter; a heating container into which the food waste passed through the filter is inserted and water is supplied through a water supply unit, which has a heater installed for heating the water together with the food waste, and which makes oil float on the surface of the water by being separated from the food waste base on the heater to be overflowed; an oil collecting container which collects oil overflowed from the heating container; a drainage unit for discharging the water from the lower part of the heating container; a slider which is installed to slide along the upper part of the filter in the main body; and a filtrate collecting container for collecting filtrates separated from the filter as the slider slides. By the present invention, oil contained in food waste is separated and collected, and thus foul smell and pollution due to waste water with oil discharged into a drain are prevented, thereby preventing environmental pollution, easily reusing the food waste in places where the food waste are actually produced, and recycling collected oil as raw materials for biofuels. |
