The baseboard (1) has a base body (5) made of wood, and an elastic spacer (7) connected with the base body. The spacer and a groove extend in sections in a longitudinal direction of the base body. The spacer is arranged within contact areas (C, C1) formed in an installation position between the base body and a transition area (A). The spacer is formed from material e.g. polyurethane and ethylene vinyl acetate, directly applied on the base body as a shapeless material. A crest (8) is formed on an outer side of the spacer turned away from the base body. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a baseboard. |
