<p>The invention relates to a percussion device having a frame (2), a tool (5) mounted movable in its longitudinal direction, the percussion device containing a work chamber (3) having a movably mounted transmission piston (4) to compress the tool (5) so that a longitudinal stress pulse is generated to the tool (5), inlet and outlet channels (7, 9) for conducting the pressure fluid to the percussion device and away from it and a control valve (8) that alternately directs the pressure fluid from the inlet channel (7) to the work chamber (3) to act on the transmission piston (4) and, correspondingly, discharges the pressure fluid from the percussion device. The percussion device and transmission piston (4) have channels (8c, 17, 18) that connect the pressure fluid that acted on the transmission piston (4) to flow during the return movement of the transmission piston (4) through the control valve (8) and transmission piston (4) to the pressure fluid outlet channel (9) and cut off the flow when the transmission piston (4) has returned to its initial position.</p> |
