Eyeglasses retention system

An eyeglass retention system for coupling eyewear and headwear through the use of magnets attached to the temples or arms of glasses and magnetic or metallic elements attached to headwear. Vertical supports and other attachment structures prevent inserts from falling out while multi-point magnetic coupling and safety features enhance performance.

an insert concealingly disposable in relation to headwear, the insert having at least one portion comprising a first magnetic material; and a second magnetic material concealingly disposable in relation to eyewear; and the first magnetic material adapted for concealingly coupling with the second magnetic material by way of the insert.
