The present invention relates to a composition comprising a Saussurea pulchella fisch extract as an active ingredient for preventing and curing allergic diseases, and more particularly, to a pharmaceutical composition, external preparation for skin care, a cosmetic composition and a functional food comprising a Saussurea pulchella fisch extract as an active ingredient for preventing and curing or relieving allergic diseases. The Saussurea pulchella fisch extract of the present invention can be useful as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or curing various allergic diseases since the extract shows degranulation suppressive activation as the result of performing β-Hexosaminidase assay by using a RBL-2H3 cell strain.
