The present invention relates to a location information provision system according to themes based on user location information and a method thereof. The location information provision system comprises the following: a terminal device for transmitting location and theme information as a user inputs; a POI management device for receiving and managing the location information; a theme information management device for receiving and managing the theme information; a text mining device for collecting web documents having the location information by receiving the theme and location information, mapping the location information on theme information including words exposed more than a predetermined number of times among the words included in the collected web documents, and producing location information according to the themes; and a location information provision device according to themes for storing the location information according to themes and user information registering the location information according to themes while providing a list of location information according to recommendable themes for the terminal device by allocating the location information according to themes. By the present invention, the present invention can sort and recommend location such as restaurants and stores according to themes based on the user location and provide the search results according to themes. Also, a user can register selected interesting locations in each theme, share the same with other users, and recommend location information in each theme while arranging the same in order of popularity and newest. |
