摘要 A powder inhaler comprising: a body that is provided with a dispenser orifice; a plurality of reservoirs each containing a dose of powder; a perforator to perforate a predosed reservoir on each actuation; and a dispersion channel including an inlet that is connected to the perforator and that receives the dose of powder from the reservoir, and an outlet connected to the dispenser orifice, the perforator controlled by inhalation, the dispersion channel including two bent channel portions, a first bent channel portion that is connected to said inlet via a first substantially-rectilinear channel portion, and a second bent channel portion connected to the outlet via a second substantially-rectilinear channel portion, the two bent channel portions being interconnected via a third substantially-rectilinear channel portion, the cross-section of the third substantially-rectilinear channel portion being smaller than the cross-section of the first substantially-rectilinear channel portion.

A powder inhaler comprising: a body (10) that is provided with a dispenser orifice (15); a plurality of predosed reservoirs each containing a dose of powder for dispensing; and reservoir-opening means (80) for opening a reservoir on each actuation, said opening means being perforator means comprising a needle that is adapted to perforate a predosed reservoir on each actuation; the inhaler further comprising a dispersion channel (70) including an inlet (710) that is connected to said perforator means (80) and that receives the dose of powder from said open reservoir, and an outlet (720) that is connected to said dispenser orifice (15), said perforator means being controlled by the user inhaling, such that a predosed reservoir is simultaneously perforated and emptied, the powder driven by the inhalation flow passing through said dispersion channel before being expelled through the dispenser orifice, the inhaler being characterized in that said dispersion channel (70) includes two bent channel portions (71, 72), a first bent channel portion (71) that is directly connected to said inlet (710) via a first substantially-rectilinear channel portion (67), and a second bent channel portion (72) that is directly connected to said outlet (720) via a second substantially-rectilinear channel portion (68), said two bent channel portions (71, 72) being directly interconnected via a third substantially-rectilinear channel portion (69) that extends the entire distance between the first bent channel portion and the second bent channel portion, the cross-section of said third substantially-rectilinear channel portion (69) being smaller than the cross-section of said first substantially-rectilinear channel portion (67).
