A method for preparing foamed polyurethane, and the foamed polyurethane prepared by the method are provided to improve reactivity and hardness, strength at break and elongation at break without using a lead organic acid salt. A method for preparing foamed polyurethane comprises the step of reacting a polyol component which comprises a polyether-based polyol having a hydroxyl number of 15-60 mg KOH/g and a functionality of 2-4 and a chain extender having a molecular weight of 60-200 and a functionality of 2-4; a polyisocyanate component which comprises an aliphatic and/or alicyclic polyisocyanate and the isocyanurate modified product of the polyisocyanate and contains 22-32 wt% of NCO; a catalyst which comprises a bismuth organic acid salt; and a foaming agent which comprises the pressurized fluid. |
