PURPOSE: A novel zanamivir derivative and a method for preparing the same are provided to suppress neuraminidase activity and to be used as an antiviral agent. CONSTITUTION: A novel zanamivir derivative is denoted by chemical formula I. In chemical formula I, R_1 is N_3, NH_2, or guanidino; and R_2 is O or S. In chemical formula I, R_3 is a C1-C8 straight chain, a cyclic alkyl group, or a halogen substituent thereof; a 5-membered heterocyclic group; an aryl group; a non-substituted aryl group or helogen; an aryl group substituted with an OH group, an NO_2 group, an NH_2 group, or a COOH group; phenyl or phenyl substituted with 1-3 substituent selected among C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, halogen, hydroxyl, phenyl, amino, and trifluoromethyl. |
