The present invention relates to a cross-linkable polymer mixture based on a chlorinated polymer, especially a sulfur-free polymer for producing cables and wires through cross-linkage, especially cross-linkage using heat and/or irradiation after extrusion. The mixture of the present invention is produced by mixing components in order to be extruded and cross-linked so that the cables and wires are produced. The polymer mixture of the present invention is stable when stored before being extruded and cross-linked and after being mixed.
