ACCESS ROUTER AND MOBILITY MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREOF, DB SERVER FOR THE SAME

Disclosed are an access router, a mobile management method of the access router, and a DB server for the same. The access router comprises: a transmission unit transmitting a DB request message containing ID of a mobile node, which is attached to the access router, to a DB server; and a reception unit receiving the DB request message and receiving a DB response message from the DB server to determine whether there exists a previous access router before the handover of the mobile node. The DB server registers the ID of the mobile node to the access router by performing an authentication procedure for the mobile node through an authentication server if an access request of the mobile node is a request for a first-time access. The DB response message includes at least any one piece among the information on the previous access router and information on the registration. According to the present invention, the stability of the authentication server can be improved by distributing traffic of the authentication server. In addition, a mobility management service can be provided more quickly by removing unnecessary repetition from the authentication procedure.
