The present invention relates to a receipt notification system for checking the receipt of a mail receiver of mails sent from a mobile terminal which receives mails via IMAP protocol. The mail receipt notification system comprises a sender terminal, in which a mail client program is installed, requesting and sending a mail written in the installed mail client program to a receiver terminal; a mail server for transmitting the mail requested by the sender terminal to the receiver terminal; and the receiver terminal for receiving the mail which is transmitted from the sender terminal from the mail server. The mail server produces a virtual mail box, produces a receipt notification from receipt mail check information which is produced in the receiver terminal, and stores the produced receipt check mail in the produced virtual mail box. |
