PURPOSE: An electric motor and an electric vehicle including the same are provided to improve cooling performance by shortening a heat transfer path. CONSTITUTION: A stator(150) includes a stator core and a stator coil. The stator core includes a plurality of salient poles and a slot. The stator coil is wounded around the salient pole. A rotor(170) is capable of relative motion with regard to the stator. A cooling unit(190) includes a cooling pipe(191) inserted into the slot. The cooling pipe is contacted to the stator coil. A heat transfer promotion means is interposed between the cooling pipe and the stator coil. |
