The present invention relates to a touch sensing system and an operation method thereof. The touch sensing system includes a touchscreen and a touch sensing circuit which applies operation signals to the touch sensors. An operation signal is generated by a multi-step waveform. The multi-step waveform includes: a pre-charging section which applies a first voltage to the touch sensors; a high-potential sustenance section which applies a second voltage lower than the first voltage to the touch sensors; a discharge acceleration section which applies a third voltage lower than the second voltage to the touch sensors; and a reference potential section which applies a reference voltage lower than the second voltage and higher than the third voltage to the touch sensors.
