<p>The method involves quantizing and recording physical quantity over a range bounded by start time and end time. Braking start time is determined for activation of a braking unit to achieve a desired speed below a predetermined level, based on a variable determined between the start time and the end time. The braking unit is activated at the determined braking start time so that torque around a clamping end of a screw tightening tool i.e. electric screwdriver, is within a predetermined theoretical range of tolerance. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product for automatically adjusting speed of a screw tightening tool during a cycle of tightening a screw (2) a computer-readable medium storing a program for automatically adjusting speed of a screw tightening tool during a cycle of tightening a screw.</p> |
