The main technical result which is achieved when the claimed utility model is implemented consists in reducing the manufacturing cost of a known design of window unit while retaining the traditional external appearance of the window unit, and improving the thermal insulation properties while ensuring the necessary degree of air impermeability of the window unit, and can be achieved in that a known window unit, consisting of a frame and a glazing unit with a spacing frame between adjacent glass sheets which is made from a profile with a slot for fittings needed to secure the glazing unit in the frame, additionally comprises a trim, secured around the perimeter of the glass and covering the inner ledge, said trim having a seal mounted in a slot therein, while glass sheets of identical size are used in the glazing unit. |
