The present invention is provided with a solid-state laser element (3) having a gain with respect to a plurality of different wavelengths in a plurality of different axis directions, and an optical element having characteristics such that light loss increases with increasing light intensity for each wavelength of light, the solid-state laser element (3) and the optical element being configured so as to be included in a resonator for the fundamental wave generated by the solid-state laser element (3), and configured so as to oscillate at two or more wavelengths. Output light having a plurality of different wavelengths can therefore be obtained from a single solid-state laser element (3), and a small, inexpensive, and easily manufactured laser apparatus is obtained.
