The invention provides an analytical process using specific peptides serving to detect antibodies in the serum of a patient, the antibodies serving as the analyte which is indicative of AOSD. Further, the invention provides for the peptides, which are specific reactants to the antibodies, which are the analytes that are indicative of AOSD. The peptides used in the analytical process have the advantage of allowing a differentiation of AOSD from other medical conditions involving fever, e.g. from inflammatory rheumatoid diseases or from infectious diseases or malignant diseases accompanied by fever. |
