<p>Provided is an image processing device used in a virtual slide system, etc., that generates an image of an imaging target without compositing a plurality of divided images, and prevents unintentional diagnosis on the basis of a boundary position or area in a divided image. The image processing device generates image data for displaying an imaging target, on the basis of divided image data for the imaging target captured such that the imaging range has mutually overlapping areas, and has: an image data acquisition means that obtains the plurality of divided image data; an image data selection means that automatically selects image data to be displayed from the plurality of divided image data, for the overlapping areas; and a display control means that displays the overlapping areas in an image display device, using the divided image data selected by the image data selection means.</p> |
