<p>The invention relates to a surgical pair of tweezers for carrying out the fascial suture of small wounds, such as the wounds after laparoscopy, and to a method for carrying out the suture by using said pair of tweezers. The claimed pair of tweezers comprises two arms () in the shape of a blade, arranged in face-to-face relationship, with the concave side inside, having some joined distal ends () and some free proximal ends (), one of the proximal ends () being provided with two inner semicircular teeth, laterally placed, which, in the compressed position, join a central linear tooth placed to the proximal end () of the opposite arm (). The claimed method consists in the fascial suture without any risk of iatrogenic lesions by transcutaneous fascial approach of the suture needle, a surgical thread being extracted lately from the cutaneous plane by means of some tweezers in compressed position, thereby carrying out one or two fascial sutures at the level of fascial wounds after laparoscopy.</p> |
