<p>Provided are a method and device for three-dimensional image processing of a fibrous filler within a composite material, where it is possible to quantitatively extract, from a three-dimensional image of a composite material including a fibrous filler in a base material, orientation information of the individual fibers in the composite material. This method comprises a data input step (#0), a region selection step (#1), a model setting step (S1), and an extraction main step (S2). In the data input step (#0), input of a three-dimensional image of the fibrous filler in a composite material is received as voxel data. In the region selection step (#1), a candidate region which includes the filler is selected on the basis of a voxel data value. In the model setting step (S1), a shape model is set which is configured to reproduce the fiber shape, said shape model having parameters whereby shape and positioning are changed. In the extraction main step (S2), a shape model, which is fitted to the candidate region by the shape model parameters being changed on the basis of the Monte Carlo method, is quantitatively extracted as orientation information of the filler.</p> |
