The present invention relates to a snow removing apparatus for preventing the accumulation of snow on a roof or for removing the snow accumulated on the roof. The snow removing apparatus is installed on the roof. The snow removing apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a driving source; a driving motor driven to be rotated by the driving source; a snow removing operation part including an impeller which is mounted on the driving motor and is directly driven by the driving motor, and respective propellers which are circumferentially coupled to the impeller; and a pipeline connected to the upper side of the impeller, and extended to be bent downward. The driving source includes: a battery in which energy from solar heat or solar light is accumulated; a detecting part detecting the amount of the energy from the solar heat or the solar light; and a controller and a switching part for operating the driving motor by electrically connecting the battery and the driving motor when information from the detecting part is determined to be below a reference value by comparing the information with the reference value. The pipeline has an electric heating wire therein. According to the present invention, the snow accumulated on the roof can be automatically removed. In addition, according to the present invention, most of the snow largely accumulated on the peak of the roof is dropped to the ground by the propellers, and the residual snow not removed by the propellers is transferred to the extra pipeline by the impeller and is removed, thereby completely removing the snow accumulated on the roof. |
