The present invention relates to a flexible display device capable of increasing and maximizing a commercial value by easily controlling the size of an image display surface and increasing portability. The flexible display device comprises; a fixing body which fixates a fixed area of a flexible panel; the flexible panel in which a part is fixated to the fixing body and the residual part is freely bent; a protection cover which winds the residual part of the flexible panel which is not fixated to the fixing body using a roller which is rotatively assembled, or changes a direction of the residual part of the flexible panel and receives the residual part of the flexible panel in the inner side; and an operation power converting device which is assembled and is applied as a state which connects the fixing body and the protection cover and rotates the roller by mechanically converting operation power which is added by a user for an unfolding operation of the flexible display device. The operation power converting device converts perturbation movement of the protection cover into rotary power by reversely using a screw principle. For this, a rotary converting screw in which a screw is formed on a central penetration part or a rotary screw which is combined and assembled and applied to the rotary converting screw as the state capable of a perturbation rotation and is assembled can be applied. A gear 1 is formed on the end of the rotary screw. |
