Disclosed are a method for providing an advertisement in a mobile terminal and a device for performing the same. The method for providing an advertisement in a mobile terminal includes the steps of: generating a flip web document connected to a plurality of web documents; inserting at least one advertisement into the web documents of the generated flip web document; and transmitting, to a user mobile terminal, the flip web document having the inserted advertisement, wherein the advertisement which is inserted into the web documents of the flip web document is exposed when the web documents are flipped in the mobile terminal, thereby providing a user with the efficiently identifiable advertisement in the mobile terminal.
