<p>A charging device and a charging control method therefor. The charging device comprises: a power supply unit (10); a relay (20); a state detection module (31) which is connected to a rechargeable battery (100) and used for detecting when the rechargeable battery reaches a fully charged state; a pulse generation module (33) which is connected to the state detection module and used for generating a pulse signal when the rechargeable battery reaches a fully charged state; and a pulse driving circuit (40) which is connected between the pulse generation module and the input end of the relay, and driven by the pulse signal to operate so as to control the relay to act to disconnect the electrical connection between the power supply unit and the rechargeable battery. Because the pulse driving circuit is used to control the relay to act, the electrical connection between the power supply unit and the rechargeable battery is disconnected. Thus, charging can be stopped in time when the rechargeable battery is fully charged, so as to eliminate the potential safety hazards such as setting on fire, smoke, explosion, etc.</p> |
