The invention relates to a wireless communication management method that can be used to select a channel, from multiple different possible channels, in order to establish a wireless communication between a base station and a wireless device. The method comprises the steps of: a) using the base station to produce a list of k free channels in a range of time intervals, said list containing at least one slot number of each channel; b) periodically broadcasting said list; c) using the wireless device to monitor the broadcast list of k channels; d) using the wireless device to create a group of n channels selected randomly from the channels in the list of k channels, n being between 1 and k; e) if n is greater than 1, using the wireless device to arrange the group of n channels in a random manner; and f) using the wireless device to select at least one candidate connection channel located in the first position in the group of n channels. |
