The present invention relates to a virtual character rearing service providing method using a quest and reward system and, more specifically, to a service providing server which provides a virtual character rearing service by including the following steps of: (1) providing a quest for a user terminal; (2) receiving quest performance information from the user terminal and authenticating the quest performance information; (3) providing a reward according to the quest performance for a user if the authentication succeeds; and (4) applying the provided reward to a virtual character of the user, wherein the reward is related to the quest which is performed by the user. According to the virtual character rearing service providing method using the quest and reward system which is provided by the present invention, the method is able to express the individuality of a user since the real lift of the user is applied to a virtual character, sustainably cause an interest through various quests, and provide fun like a game by making the service providing server to provide a quest for the user terminal and applying the reward to the virtual character of the user if the user performs the quest. Moreover, the present invention is able to induce active activities of a real life including a self-care, etc in order to rear a virtual character in a desired direction and also provide various information through a quest by enabling a user to provide a work which the user have to do or the quest capable of being performed in real life by the user. |
