The invention relates to an exoskeleton device for performing flexion and extension therapy for rehabilitation of the index finger of patients suffering from mobility problems in the tendons of the fingers. The field of application of the invention is that related to biomechatronic finger rehabilitation devices, and the device has been specifically developed for use in therapies that involve finger flexion and extension exercises. The biomechatronic device of the invention has been designed so that it can include and control each of the subsystems forming the device, i.e. the mechanical, electronic and biomechanical systems of the hand.
