Disclosed is a synchronization system for detecting asymmetry of an optical fiber, which comprises: a time synchronization device, a delay compensation unit, and an optical module device. The optical module device is configured to detect an asymmetric distance of a bidirectional optical fiber, between network elements at two sides, and an impulse transmission delay inequality, and obtain a bidirectional optical fiber asymmetric delay according to the asymmetric distance of the bidirectional optical fiber and the impulse transmission delay inequality. Further disclosed is a synchronization method for detecting asymmetry of an optical fiber, which comprises obtaining a bidirectional optical fiber asymmetric delay according to the asymmetric distance of the bidirectional optical fiber and the impulse transmission delay inequality. Further disclosed are a master optical module device and a slave optical module device for detecting asymmetry of optical fiber. |
