Provided is an upright type rehabilitation exercise device. The present invention includes: a base; a foot plate which is installed via at least one of first springs disposed on the top surface of the base, and is able to move in every direction with user′s feet being placed thereon; an operation part including a pair of outer cylinders which are fixedly installed at left and right sides on the base, a pair of inner cylinders which are assembled to be vertically moveable inside the outer cylinders, and a pair of operation bars connected via a second spring and a fixed bar of which a lower end is fixed to the top surface of the base through the inner cylinder, so that an upper end of the operation bar moves in every direction within an inner diametric dimension of the inner cylinder; and an upper table connected to the upper end of the operation bar and provided with a grip grasped by user′s hands. Thiplate s device rehabilitates the muscular strength of a lower body by allowing the user′s lower body placed on the foot to move in every direction, and also rehabilitates the muscular strength of an upper body by allowing the user′s upper body grasping the grip to move in every direction.
