<p>The device (3) has a pin (4) integrally formed with mirror (1), and a connection ring (5) surrounding the pin to exert a clamping force on the pin. The connection ring comprises an internal ring (6) that is in contact with the pin. An external ring (7) of the connection ring is connected to a support (2). The internal and external rings are arranged coaxial to the pin and cooperate with each other. The internal and external rings comprise a compensation unit for compensating differential thermal expansion such that the clamping force is kept constant over a predetermined temperature range.
