A method of diagnosing an amyloid pathology in the central nervous system of a patient using measurements of enrichment kinetics of at least one amyloid-ß isoform is provided. In addition, a model to predict enrichment kinetics of at least one amyloid-ß isoform, methods of calibrating the model, and methods of using the model to diagnosing an amyloid pathology in the central nervous system of a patient are provided.
