Disclosed are a method, a device, and a system for backing up device information, which are used in information backup between a first device and a second device. By connecting the first device directly to the second device through a cable, and enabling the first device to obtain information to be backed up from the second device through the cable and back up the information to be backed up, the present invention can complete information backup in a quick and simple way, and avoid disadvantages of low reliability and low security of a pluggable medium.
