<p>The invention relates to a method and a device for sealing a pipe laid below water level, where the risk of uncontrolled leakage of fluids circulating therethrough occurs. The claimed method consists in positioning two cylindrical bodies () in front of a crack or break in a pipe (), by means of some cranes, of which the first body ensures the ballast and the other body covers the pipe and seals the space between the body and the pipe as to the outside. The claimed device comprises two bodies (), of which the first body () has a ballast weight () and the other body () is equipped with rubber seals () and, in connection with said body, there is mounted a fastening device () formed, in its turn, of two semi-round bodies () provided with some screws () and nuts (), respectively.</p> |
