The present invention relates to a compound represented as the chemical formula 1 and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same. Light emitting efficiency, a driving voltage, and a service life of a device can be improved by comprising the compound, represented by the chemical formula 1, in at least one organic layer and preferably in a light emitting layer.
